Tara Allyson Presta – California Entrepreneur Who Enjoys the Outdoors
A California business owner, Tara Allyson Presta has owned and operated businesses in the beverage and hospitality industries and invests in real estate. Outside of business, Tara Allyson enjoys outdoor activities.
Beginning in 1983, Ms. Presta launched four businesses, including Alkobar Liquor, her first business. Later, she purchased Balport Liquor in 1984, The Inn in 1989, and the Ramada Inn in 1990. After selling the Ramada Inn in 1992, she made investments across industries but focused on single-tenant, triple NNN properties (rentals where tenants pay all operating expenses). She also invests in multiple-family properties and commercial real estate.
Ms. Presta's hobbies include hiking, parasailing, snorkeling, skiing, sailing, and diving. She travels to various locations to do these activities. Some of the places she has visited include Park City, Utah (skiing), Pend Oreille Lake, Idaho (sailing), Lake MacDonald in Glacier National Park (boating), and Grand Junction (hiking). When hiking, she prefers the Dinosaur Hiking Trail in Grand Junction and Boar's Tusk Trail in Sand Dunes Recreation Area.
She has also visited Selkirks, Farragut, and the Colorado National Monument. Additionally, she has dived and snorkeled in Laguna Beach, Sardinia, Italy, and Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
